Gianni Dalla Torre, EGI, The Netherlands

Presentation title: Fuelling open science with a pan-European cloud infrastructure federation -Experiences from the Eastern Partnership region

Gianni Dalla Torre is a Cloud Community Manager for the EGI Foundation. He has worked as a policy expert for the H-CLOUD and the EUCloudEdgeIoT (UNLOCK-CEI) projects, supported the coordination and delivery of EGI cloud activities, contributed as a cloud expert to the EGI-ACE and EOSC projects, and represented EGI in the GoSAFE and DIGITbrain projects. Previously he was working as a Senior Cloud System Engineer for MicroFocus Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, and for more than ten years in the Scientific European Community as E-Infrastructure Integration Specialist and Technologist for the institutes EMBL-EBI and INFN. Gianni holds MSc in Computer Science Engineering.
