Dr. Helena Zhivitskaya, MBA, Eng, Vice-rector of Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR). Helena oversees quality control and development of educational curricula, designs local legislative acts aiming at the improvement of the tuition quality; coordinates a group work on the development of educational standards of higher education of the Republic of Belarus of new higher standards. She has been actively involved in issues of higher education reform in Belarus: introduced a number of proposals for amending the Code of the Republic of Belarus on education, proposals in the draft decision of the National Council of Rectors of higher education institutions; аs a member of the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform (HEREs), she prepared a series of articles and reports in the Republic of Belarus and abroad on issue improving higher education, organized  international conferences, meetings and missions.

 Under her guidance a quality management system satisfying the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001-2009 has been developed and implemented at the University. The University has won the Prize of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for the achievements in quality in 2011 and 2017. Dr. Helena Zhivitskaya is recognized by the commission of the State Standard of the Republic of Belarus as the winner of the republican contest “The Best Quality Manager” in Belarus in 2015.  

She is the author of over 170 scientific works & publications, including 4 monographs, and 11 textbooks.
